A New Dawn
This year marks a monumental milestone for Piedmont Care as we commemorate the 30th anniversary of a compassionate journey dedicated to supporting those affected by HIV and AIDS.
Over these three decades, Piedmont Care has emerged as a beacon of hope and a pillar of strength in the Spartanburg, Cherokee, and Union communities. Piedmont Care was founded at a time when the world was in dire need of dedicated support for those living with HIV and AIDS. It was a daybreak in an era marked by the darkness of stigma and fear. From its inception, Piedmont Care has been a guiding light, offering vital services such as case management, medical care, prevention, counseling, and support programs. Our commitment to providing comprehensive care has helped many navigate the complexities of living with HIV, transforming the darkness of uncertainty into a dawn of promise and resilience.
Our community recently faced the severe impact of Hurricane Helene. The Piedmont Care team reacted quickly to assess the damage, restart services, and respond to client emergencies. Friends of Piedmont Care acted to support staff efforts and ensure damaged supplies were replenished and pantries were full. Like our Covid-19 response, this recent challenge highlighted the dedication and resilience of this organization.
As we commemorate 30 years of Piedmont Care, we reflect on the profound impact this organization has made. Through the dedication and compassion of staff, leadership, and community volunteers, Piedmont Care has illuminated the path for countless individuals.
We invite you to continue this journey with us. Your generous donation will help us sustain our mission and expand our impact for the years to come. Join us in shaping a brighter future – every contribution counts.
